Been quite lazy these days after started working in Shah Alam. I started to use one hand to eat, use foot to pick up things I drop and even crawl on the floor instead of walking!! Precisely speaking, I'm cultivating a sinful sin on my own..deng.

I thought of playing violin few few weeks ago, after playing 2 very emo songs, I noticed there was nobody seeing me play soooo hard (I played with eyes closed summo u know), then I switched my channel to magazines...Secondly, I thought of playing squash during weekend, then I took out my squash racquets which fully covered with spider webs and dust (can see haze when I blow on the racquet case), but ended up shopping after received calls (which we all girls call it an exercise in air-conditioned hall). Luckily the third thought was successful! Thank God, me and my twin went swimming in the nearest swimming pool which is like 20km++ away from my house. (far-nyer...) but somehow I could only swim 50m in a shot now (with lousy free-style stroke). and I miss EvanQ (my ex-life saving instructor).

Anyway, I wanted to write a blog about my recent life in here, but I found nothing in my 'recently added pictures'!! **astonish+holly expression** oh my gosh!!! I've never taken any photos in months!! I quickly went and checked my camera if it's still in good condition or not, is there any little pieces get rusted or what.. and started flipping through my clothes in wardrobe and thinking which clothes to wear for the next photo-shooting. it's a bit exaggerating, but I seriously like shooting. Somehow I lose my spirit and urge in doing this when I look at my own photos (not that nice lar..) So I just dump my blackie DSLR to aside and sayang it back with guilt after few months.

Yes, I come from Kemaman, the lowest part of Terengganu. If you refer to 'map of Malaysia', it's quite near to Kuantan, Pahang. Since 'it's quite near', my mummy 'always' give birth in Kuantan no matter how pain her stomach is **no choice, doctors in Kemaman lousy mar...**

Yes, there are LOTS of MALAYS in Terengganu ( >90%)
Yes, there are LOTS of Malay FOOD in Terengganu
Yes, there are LOTS of beaches (woohoo~~~)
Yes, there are LOTS of rich people in Kemaman (nowhere to spend money)

Well, my team made it into quarter-final..**we are not bad actually..hehe**

But the thing is, we were too nervous since our opponents are Jaya from engineering campus!! Rumors said Jaya is strong **as they've been training for MONTHS, unlike us, WEEK (please notice there is no 's' after 'week')**

Was having a concert snippet@Permatang Pelajar this afternoon. It was so funny that I was taking part in the band too~~~ BUT!! the problem is...... I had to play recorder!! You know what is recorder? The tube which has many holes and all of us were forced to learn during primary school time..remember??

I don't mind to play recorder actually as it IS a musical instrument anyway. BUT!!Another problem is....I only played 2 songs!! **I WANT MORE!!!** can you imagine that you just perform 2 songs with little cute instrument and people clap hands then go off like primary school girl?? **funny...LOL**

Having Jazz Band INTENSIVE camp now...

It's a tough training anyway.. practice from 10am to 12pm, 2pm to 5pm, 8pm to 11pm.. EVERYDAY!! Crazy weh~~ It makes me can't go Langkawi, Hatyai and can't even go shopping since MEGASALES is waiting for me now!! Too bad that I'm playing french horn...

Opps...girls not always look fabulous when playing BRASS =P

French horn mouthpiece is very small if compared to other brass.. So it's tough to control the pitch and I have to keep on tighten my lips for the practices..**sigh**

So funny thing happens when all of us gather together and we all look like sausage lips gang!!

10 things siao cha bo did in Cambodia

1. Angkor Wat

This is a MUST!! I found out SLR is the most common thing here... So it's just a small case if you are using normal camera. **better dump it and look for SLR (or maybe a professional one??)**

2. Shooting

Shooting in Cambodia is CHEAP!! **this is what I heard from my friend** 40USD per gun with 30 bullets. See....I chose AK47 which I think the coolest!!
I thought I can show off when coming back, who knows my friends all said 'oo...I played before la dude....' (sienzz)

3. Khmer FoodZzzzz

Amok (fish + coconut milk + curry) is the most famous local food in Cambodia but it's not my favourite (because of the smell I guess). Khmer food is not spicy at all. It does look hot, but taste sweet.

4. Night club in Phnom Pehn

Another MUST!! You can watch dramatic showZzz without paying any tickets!! There are sooo many handsome foreigners in club.. of course, there are many prostitutes too~~~
We saw how the hookers seduce handsome dudes by pulling their clothes downwards to show off their cleavage and showing their ass cracks as well.. Lots of fun over there. **too bad I didn't bring my camera that time**

5. Duck fetus

Only 1200 Riel you can taste the most disgusting food in Cambodia!! Of course I did!! **woohoo~~**
I was so excited when trying this!! But the egg we ate was only the 10th day I guess as the duck was not fully formed yet. So it's not so disgusting, only can see feather, brain and beak. Yeah, it does taste GOOD!!

6. Insect

It was sooo difficult to tell Tuk tuk driver that we wanna try out insect. I had to draw grasshopper out at last **luckily my drawing wasn't bad**
Not much choices, only crickets, cockroaches and spiders. Say NO to cockroaches!! Don't know why Cambodians like them so much. Say NO to spiders too...I cant imagine if the fluid coming out from the body when chewing it. At last, cricket is the most friendliest one. We couldn't even finish ONE cricket. Super duper DISGUSTING!! **somemore its wing was stucked in my teeth...**

7. Exotic Food

This is common. We found out it's easy to find crocodile and sneak meat here. So you can tell the crocs and snakes ' I just ate you!!' right after the meal. Yummy yummy~~~

8. Baguette

Cambodia used to be monopolized by French. Thus, Baguette is their 'roti' instead of toast. Frankly speaking, I love Baguette here so much and I don't mind if everyday starts with a Baguette in Malaysia. hehehe....

9. Go Toilet

Toilets in Cambodia are very CLEAN. No smell, dry and free entrance fee. Before come back to Malaysia, we tried to go toilet as often as possible =P

10. Profile Pictures

This is the most important thing to do in Cambodia! There are lots of frames, staircase and vantage points to take profile pictures. My profile picture not bad right? **chuckles**

What should I say? Nervous!! It's Penang Bridge Marathon 2008. Of course i felt nervous..I didn't go though any training before, and took 25km somemore (which my friend thought I'm brave and I found myself STUPID) So, it's the time now!!! woke up at 3.15am, registered at 4am and started running at 5am **was like zombie that time, not enough sleep** We were standing at the first row of the starting line, sounds 'kia su' right?? haha...anyway, hopefully my pictures will be posted on the newspaper tomorrow =P

I'm shifting out!! with Caren.. (from Lengkuk Sg.Dua to Hamna). It's a good thing as I don't need to worry about the break-in cases anymore. **chuckles**

This is the room we chose. It was an empty room actually and we went to buy furniture to fill it up. ** $$$ flied -_-" ** The furniture is quite cheap, can you see the price?? Not bad.. Say THANK YOU to Furniture Fair..hehe

I don't know why we have so many stuffs. 20 boxes + 10 bags + miscellaneous. I think i have to stop buying stuffs here, I cant imagine how I'm gonna move the stuffs back to my hometown after my graduation. **maybe I should find 10 boyfriends to help me up, have to start hunting now..lol**

But anyway, we managed to squeeze ALL the stuffs into our room eventually.

It looks stuffy, but not messy. At least I don't need to put 5 locks on my door and I can put my laptop everywhere.. **laughing**

Effing SPANNER !!

Hey~~~~ you know what..............

An Effing Spanner was stucked in my car tyre!! I don't know how it pierced through my tyre, I don't know who is the idiot who left the spanner on the middle on the road and I really don't know how to change tyre!!

But since Trinna offered herself to help me up (she said she OBSERVED people did that before) but ended up......nothing!! (don't trust Trinna next time) But Caren managed to elevate the car by elevator. So, no choice. i had to call my friendZzzz in my phone list. Luckily there was a guy and a girl came help me...how nice!!

But anyway, my friends all came. I'm so touched **sniff sniff** It's like a small tyre-changing gathering. LOL

The next day i went to tyre shop and i found out the spanner is quite long!!

Remember!! Don't ever abandon your tools on the road!!

Some break-in cases had happened in my place area. Few weeks ago, my housemate's laptop had been stolen and it happened in the afternoon!! Caren saw his back but no point (tak kan lah she goes and reports to the police and police asks her to recognise the suspected thieves' back through the mirror..). Then few days later, I heard my neighbours' laptops hilang too......and the most serious is the recent case. The thief intruded my neighbours' house and stole few laptops, cellphones and cash!! According to my friend's friend's friend, the thieVES went in through the balcony with their master key (which can open any doors), and the next day they found their stuffs disappeared MAGICALLY. sounds SCARY huh...

Since it happened just few doors away, so my roommates and I intended to take some precautions so that the thieves will take longer time to break in our room.

Five difficulties!! muahahahaha.....

But it seems like we are staying in jail la... **sweat**

Borsch Soup~~~~~ Yummy....

Well...I don't cook, I seldom touch kitchen utensils and I hate cooking. But i don't know WHY i cooked today. Maybe i was too bored, or maybe I was craving for Borsch soup. Anyway, what I must say is....I really have the talents in cooking!! (thanks to my mom for giving me such a nice genes..) But in fact, everyone knows how to cook especially CHEMISTs (as long as they have the recipe).
Okay, these are the materials I bought from Tesco:

Cabbage, celery, tomatoes, onions, carrots, tomato sauce, tomato paste and MEAT

According to the recipe, we must fried the onion and don't know what what what (i forgot the steps already). For me, I just throw everything into slow cooker.

This is soooo wrong. I shouldn't put sooo much vege. It was overloaded!

But somehow, the vege shrank and everything was just nice. Finally my Borsch soup turned out like this:

Let's introduce my final year project first. I have to 'date' with sewage water at least twice a week (actually i'm not willing to do so..who wants to sweet talk with sewage water?!), sort of waste water treatment. So, this is my constructed wetland.

It's located at Aman Damai, you know the place where many middle east people live? It's over there..seems like an abandoned place and haunted!!

Ermm.....He is my FYP lab partner. Oh.....WenDa.... a very nerdy and crappy person...Frankly speaking, i don't like him. He always come out with sooooo many reasons to throw the duties for me to do. See...even his face also looks awkward in this picture..LOL. ( WenDa, no offence k??)

Actually this place is used to be opened for our convenience to get inside and collect samples but.....one month ago,

The gate was locked!!! We didn't know WHY...but the fact is..it's locked! (the padlock is quite big also). Then we were told that Unit Pembangunan people locked it as they found CONDOMs over there. I don't know where, but i think this is the only place they can throw.

I wonder where they XXXX in this messy and dirty place..A, B, C, D?? or maybe they brought mattress and did on E?? hehe...

Know this?? This is a brochure of FreedomFilmFestival 2008 (26th-28th Sept@Wawasan Open University). I found this event is quite interesting for me. It provides a medium and opportunity for us to think about the current issues by making some sort of documentary film. Human rights is the main thing they discuss about. I attended this event yesterday night but not much people there **quite sad la...i thought there will be a lot of handsome dudes**... Anyway, i went there to watch a short film only **to fulfill my curiosity**
Well, in the short film, they brought out the issues of indelible ink. Why the government canceled the usage of this although they had spent few millions to buy the ink? **don't ask me for the answer, i don't know the exact answer also..please ask Pak Lah**
Actually I want to go on Saturday and Sunday sessions.. But got no company. Buzz me if you guys are interested. hehe......

I don't want to write this blog actually..but since........my roommates + housemate request me to write about them in my NEW blog..so i have to do so la...although i'm tired right now..(they all wanna be infamous i guess....*chuckles*)

We went to play basketball in N-park this evening..surprise???? hahahaha...frankly speaking, i didn't touch basketball for 10 years already..long huh?? I had to stop playing when i was standard 6 as my mom said 'Your calf will be very muscular!!' Anyhow, my calf are muscular..**sob sob**

Fortunately, my skill wasn't bad..still can dribble, shooting ok ok la, and my passing always good..LOL. So, this is me..

I think my pose was a bit awkward, but anyway, i shot in..hehe. See...there were 2 dudes running..what a surprise, i didn't expect they were caught in this picture..i wanna be SOLO!! =P

That day, i stumbled on a food blogger (abbr: flogger) 's blog which introduced Penang local delicacies. One of his recommendations was Mee Goreng Sotong. Actually it's nothing special about mee goreng, but Mee Goreng Sotong is special! So, me and my dearest roomie wanted to have a tryout. The location is not so complicated, very easy to go if you follow my map bellow:

A bit messy huh? i was trying to make it simpler..LOL. well, if you use Jelutong Express Highway, just go straight till you see a big big clock at the roundabout, then park your car at the nearby parking lot. The food court is right in front of Ford Cornwallis.

The picture looks nice right? It's only RM 3.50, got sotong on the top also..**slurp**
This is the best Mee Goreng Sotong that i've ever tried. Long queue, have to wait. But the taste is just nice, the portion looks small but i felt full after i finished it.
BUT....the thing is....there are sooooooooooooooo many Burung Gagak flying above our heads!! they were trying to steal some food to eat! so better finish the food as fast as possible...lol
p/s: Ohya, forgot to tell, the place is at Esplanade..hehe.

Another place that i'm gonna introduce is Mixed Pork Porridge!

There are a lot of food stalls in front of Sunway Hotel at night. I'd tried out many, but i just love the porridge.

5 bucks. It's worth i think, got liver, illeum, char siu etc. delicious!!

At last, CHAR KUAY TEOW...........................
you know the most famous char kuay teow in Penang right? located at Lorong Selamat, HENG KUAT cafe.. (just wonder why most of the shops at Penang are called Heng Huat, Seng Huat, Sun Huat......) Anyway, this char kuay teow is....................okay for me la...since i dont like char kuay teow. But then the prawns are very big and fresh..!!

Guess how much it is? 5 bucks...... it will be 8 bucks if u want MORE prawns........................

It's about me, a pancake lover (i'm quite disappointed, as it's kinda hard to find a nice pancake shop here), a girl who is swirling around in chemistry field, and......a french horn girl (although not playing very well, but..i LOVE it).

Well, the pianist is the composer of this song, Joe Hisaishi. I think he is famous with the songs of some cartoons (animations) which directed by Hayao Miyazaki likes The Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, The Moving Castle etc. My Neighbour Totoro is the most famous one i guess, people used to call it 龙猫. not bad!!!
